The point of a deposit is to ensure the client that they will receive service they paid for, and for the artist to ensure the client won’t cancel or book someone else the last minute. With no deposit, the artist runs the risk of wasting their day on a fictitious booking.

ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE
the only way a deposit is refunded is if the artist gives prior cancellation (which happens very rarely in an extreme emergency).
